My name is Walter Anselmo Sobrinho Dimba, Mandela Washington Fellow alumnus at
Cornell University in United States of America which is an Ivy League University, studying
Leadership in Public Management. I am a graduate student at Africa University in
Zimbabwe and currently pursuing my master’s degree in Public Policy and Governance at
the same institution. I am a young man who is interested in issues that deal with the
environment and policies regarding it. I am quite knowledgeable in this area as I also hold
a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies and currently working at Provincial
Department of Environment as an Environmental Manager and Policy Advisor in Cuando
Cubango Provincial Government. However, I am a versatile person and I am open to learn
new ideas and working in different areas because I was General Manager at Organizations
Joao Manuel Felipe LDA. I have acquired technological skills not only in my university but
due to the experience I gained while working at Zicai Group Infornet where I worked with
different partners and gained multiple skills in selling products and the operation of
technical appliances such as computers, CCTV cameras and others technological
materials.
I am multilingual and can adapt to any environment as I was privileged to school in a very
diverse institution. I am a charismatic young man who is diverse and willing to learn. I
believe that with these skills that I have gained I will be able to contribute to the progress
of your organization while I also learn new skills that can help my personal growth and
input to future successes. With all these stated above, I believe I will be a great asset to
this organization as we help bring changes to the communities we live in.
